As a member of Lake Erie College’s equestrian team, Dore, competed in several preliminary Three Day Events, including Rolex and Radnor, and now teaches dressage and hunter jumpers in our area. Our regular lesson nights, rain, snow or shine, year-in and year-out, have provided a constant backdrop to glue these new skills together and progress. This constancy takes many forms, including weekly calls to make sure I put my books down on weeknights and get to the barn on time for our jump lessons (the best kind of study break!).
